The Concept of Heritage
This site, coming in 2007, will focus on embracing your heritage no matter what that heritage is. The idea sprang from a juvenile book, yet unpublished but seeking agent representation, called To Be a Gyspsy from a proposed series titled The Heart of the Romani (the Gypsies). Premise of "The Heart of the Romani" book series
This fiction series concerns real people, real places, real events, and involves a descendant of a Romanian Gypsy immigrant. Set in the modern day Romania, the series jumps to the heart of the Gypsy plight. |

Premise of Book 1: "To Be a Gypsy"
This first-in-a-series novel concerns eleven-year-old Sunita who despises being of Gypsy heritage. On the last day of the sixth grade, she comes home to find her father excited about having located a Gypsy cousin in the Transylvania region of Romania. To make matters worse, he wants to take Suni there in a few weeks.
